Our first meeting of 2010!

Today we held our first AngelVineVC meeting of 2010 at the Harvard Club of NYC.

We are pleased to announce our new executive committee appointments: Matt Harris from Village Ventures, Matt Keiser (serial angel investor and founder, founder of LiveIntent and co-founder of Datran Media), Ian Sigalow from Greycroft, and Sarah Reed from Charles River Ventures.

We've changed up our format a bit, adding companies throughout the growth cycle to the mix both for inspiration, wisdom and to help our members see the broader start-up market, particularly the NYC scene. Our presenters: Tom Phillips from Media6º; Helene Monat from AdSafeMedia; Joe Fernandez from Klout; and Clayton Gran from AdHatchery. We also heard from Roger Ehrenberg, who spoke about launching IA Ventures, an early-stage venture firm focused on managing and extracting value from "big data."
